Is the winner of Emerging Voices, Encore’s student playwright series competition. This lively full-length play, written by young North County playwrights Teddy Blessing and Emily Sperling, parodies the relationships and conflicts of the cast and crew backstage at a struggling theater production. Performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 22 and Jan. 23 and 2 p.m. Jan. 24 at the Broadway Theatre, 340 E. Broadway in Vista. Tickets are $7 in advance and at the door. Encore Youth Theatre, an affiliate of the Moonlight Cultural Foundation in Vista is a not-for-profit educational association that specializes in theatrical training for young people.
