COAST CITIES — Eleven people were arrested on Friday during a warrant sweep conducted by the Sheriff’s Department.

As part of the department’s continuing “Holiday Watch” operations, the Encinitas Sheriff’s Station and the Sheriff’s Court Services Bureau went to cities in coastal North County, including Del Mar, Encinitas, Carlsbad, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe and 4S Ranch looking for people with outstanding warrants.

All 11 people arrested were taken to Vista Jail. The charges ranged from drug possession to driving under the influence to a state parks violation.
