Tweens and teens wanted for ‘Seussical’

ENCINITAS — The North County School of the Arts’ is holding auditions June 6 for all singers, dancers and actors 10 to 18 years old to be part of “Seussical, the Musical.” To schedule an audition, visit http://www.ncsarts.org/ or call (760) 633-3893.
Rehearsals for “Seussical” will take place in the evenings starting in mid-July in Encinitas. Performances will take place Aug. 14 and Aug. 15 at the Sunshine Brooks Theater in Oceanside.
North County School of the arts staff Pamela Laurent, Scot Gregory, and Holly Cruikshank will direct the production. “Seussical: The Musical” follows the adventures of Horton the elephant, who hears voices coming from a tiny speck of dust (the smallest planet in the universe).
The North County School of the Arts offers study with working professional actors, singers, and dancers.
