Three women found dead inside Rancho Santa Fe home

RANCHO SANTA FE — The two women and a teenage girl that were found dead inside a home in Rancho Santa Fe on Monday have been identified.

The two victims, 56-year-old Inhwon Mia Shin and 15-year-old Hannah Arya died from multiple sharp force injuries, according to the autopsy report from the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s office.

The third body found, Sayeh Amini, 52, has been described as the suspect in the deaths of Shin and Arya. Amini died from self-inflicted multiple sharp force injuries.

Detectives are describing the case as a murder suicide.

Just before noon on June 27, deputies from the Sheriff’s North Coastal Patrol Station received a 911 call of a possible child abuse at a residence in the 17000 block of Villa De La Valle.

When deputies arrived, they approached the front door and knocked. When no one answered, they began to check the perimeter of the home. While doing so, they saw through an exterior window, an adult female approximately 40 years old, lying on the floor, according to law enforcement.

In an attempt to render aid, deputies forced entry into the house. When they reached the female they saw she was deceased with obvious signs of trauma.
