The Music Men install chapter officers

OCEANSIDE — The Palomar Pacific Chapter Music Men, an a cappella chorus in North County, installed new officers at the Jan. 9 installation banquet including President Joe Quince, Vice President Chapter Development Norm Shute, Vice President Music and Performance Joe Pascucci, Secretary Al Leuthe, Treasurer Don Naegele. Past President Norm Pincock, Vice President Youth in Harmony Woody Cady, Vice President Program Director Roger Hufferd and members-at-large Bruce Robin, Jack Story and Len Schaffner
The evening’s program, guided by Leuthe, saw Cady named the chapter’s Barbershopper of the Year. He was chosen by former winners of this award for his outstanding service to the chapter.
Scofield received the President’s Award and Anderson was named winner of the Director’s Award. The new board was installed by Allan Webb, Rookie of the Year-Pal Pac 1987.
The chorus meets each Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the San Marcos Senior Center at the intersection of Twin Oaks Boulevard and Richmar Avenue. Former barbershoppers and men who like to sing are invited to join them. The chapter’s new Web site is www.musicmenchorus.org.
