OCEANSIDE — Are you looking for a charitable way to donate your time? Are you affiliated with a large group or community organization that volunteers in the community? Are you a parent of a teenager who needs Community Service Hours for school? The seventh annual Oceanside Turkey Trot needs your help preparing for its Nov. 22 race.Volunteers positions are available Nov. 17 and Nov. 19 through race day Nov. 22 to help with goodie bag-stuffing, packet pick-up, participant registration, refreshments, timing at the finish line, set-up, clean-up and more. All volunteers will receive community service hours, food from our sponsors, and an Oceanside Turkey Trot Volunteer T-shirt.
The O’side Turkey Trot is a 5-mile, 5K Run/Walk event, raising funds for Oceanside Schools and the Move Your Feet Before You Eat Foundation.
