Taste of Julian set for April

JULIAN —As part of Julian’s Apple Days Centennial Celebration this year, the town will hold its first Taste of Julian event on April 4 from 1 to 4 p.m. Taste of Julian is a self-guided culinary tour to explore the one-of-a-kind restaurants throughout Julian and its surrounding area. Tickets are $20 per person and will be available at the Julian Town Hall prior to, as well as the day of the event.
“Your ticket is your passport to come up to Julian and sample menu specialties from more than 10 of our favorite locations,” said Tracy Turner, president of the Julian Merchants Association, the group that is sponsoring the event. “Although some restaurants will naturally feature apple dishes, you’ll see that there’s a lot more in Julian to please your appetite.”
The self-guided tour allows participants to visit participating restaurants at their own pace, in any order they choose within the specified time frame, and enjoy the atmosphere each restaurant has to offer.
Taste of Julian is a fundraiser to benefit the Julian Merchants Association, the nonprofit merchants association of Julian. Proceeds enhance and protect this historic district.
