Suspects in San Marcos bank robbery sought in another incident

SAN MARCOS — Two men, who both wore white gloves while robbing a bank together on April 29, are being sought by detectives who think the pair may be responsible for more than one bank robbery in San Diego County.
The Mission Federal Credit Union at an outdoor outlet mall at South Las Posas Road was robbed by two suspects at 12:04 p.m. on a Thursday, according to officials.
Detective Benny Cruz of the San Marcos Sheriff’s Station described the pair as very unique.
“There are two guys — the big one is wearing a security uniform,” he said.
Cruz said a note was used to demand money from a teller, and that officials believe the two have robbed another bank in San Diego.
Cruz asks that anyone who can identify the suspects in the bank surveillance photo to please call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
