SOLANA BEACH — Clear out that garage and side yard. Solana Beach is ready to help you recycle.This year’s Bulky Item Clean-Up Day is ready to go from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 20 in the La Colonia Community Center parking lot at the Valley Avenue entrance.
Waste Management will provide roll-off containers for easy drop-off items such as furniture, scrap metal, mattresses and yard waste.
Additionally, Solana Beach residents may call Waste Management at (800) 386-7783 through Oct. 15 to receive free curbside pickup and disposal of up to three bulky items. Items need to be curbside by 7 a.m. the same day, Oct. 20.
Hazardous waste or E-waste are not included in this collection event.
