Six arrested in prostitution sting

REGION — Six men ranging in age from 21 to 55 were jailed at the Vista Detention Facility on Tuesday for allegedly soliciting prostitutes, according to law enforcement officials.

The North County Prostitution and Human Trafficking Task Force conducted a four-hour operation on Monday night that netted the arrests.

Further details regarding the operation weren’t available by press time.

The men were booked in the Vista Detention Facility.

They have since been released, and their arraignments are scheduled for April 7 at the Vista Courthouse, according to Steve Walker, communications director with the San Diego County District Attorney’s office.
