CARDIFF-BY-THE-SEA —The Cardiff Schools Education Association, the Cardiff SEA, will host its annual “Gala by the Sea” beginning with cocktails at 5:30 p.m. March 13 at the Encinitas Community Center.
This event, which will raise funds for the Cardiff School District’s two schools, Cardiff Elementary and Ada Harris, offers champagne, and appetizers specially prepared by Rimel’s/Zenbu and Cardiff Seaside Market, both title sponsors of the event.
After a gourmet three-course dinner featuring Seaside Market’s famous Burgundy Tri-tip and Chocolate Bomb cake by Isebelle Briens French Pastry Cafe, guests will enjoy a live auction. Throughout the evening guests can ‘shop’ by purchasing prize drawing tickets for gift certificates to local businesses and restaurants, and will also be given the opportunity to donate to specific areas at each school by purchasing special SEA-star necklaces. The night will be topped off with live music and dancing to the 80’s cover band Freeze Frame.
