SAN MARCOS — The city of San Marcos will offer several new recreation classes starting in January. Residents are encouraged to check out the full guide of offerings and detailed descriptions at www.san-marcos.net. Classes are held at the San Marcos Community Center, 3 Civic Center Drive, unless otherwise noted.
Youth classes include Alphabet Adventures, baton/ribbon, cheerleading, Crawl, Rattle ‘n Roll, Junior Jazzercise, Money Camp for Kids, Pee Wee Sports, Move and Groove, and Rocket Readers.
Several youth and adult classes are also starting including Tae Kwon Do and tennis. Adult fitness classes include Tappercize and Zumba Fitness.
Youth and adult dance classes being offered include ballet, hiphop, jazz dance, and Kinderdance.
Art classes beginning in January include Abrakadoodle and the Young Rembrants classes.
There will also be a workshop offered on the Declaration
of Independence and the U.S. Constitution.
