Red Shoe Day

Volunteers from around North County coastal communities spent their morning filling size-14 Ronald McDonald shoes during the Sept. 28 Red Shoe Day.
Volunteers and employees of local businesses began collecting at 6:30 a.m. All of the money raised goes towards Ronald McDonald House Charities, which helps to provide homes away from home for families with children being treated for serious or life-threatening illnesses.
