The Oceanside “A” team, owned and operated by Jeffrey Stein and Jobs for Autism, is the new exciting American Basketball Association (ABA) team in town.

The next game is at 8 p.m. Dec. 18 with A team vs. Orange County Nova Star at Mira Costa College Gymnasium on 1 Barnard Way. Tickets are $10 for adults, $7 for active military with ID, $5 for children 11 and up, and under 10 are free. Tickets are available at the door, cash only at this time. For more information, call (858) 204-6622 or find them on Facebook.

The A in “A” team stands for Autism, Asperger’s and the Armed Forces. Home games are played at Mira Costa College. Local business owners have the opportunity to promote (sponsor) their business at the games while supporting Jobs For Autism and the Armed Forces.

The Oceanside “A” team has already made a name within the area as well as the ABA as they have won two of their four first games. Basketball camps will follow in the off-season, taught by the players.
