Pool parties welcome new Rowe School families

RANCHO SANTA FE — There is a special and fun way to get ready for back-to-school time in the Ranch.
On Aug. 13, Aug. 18 and Aug. 20, the Rancho Santa Fe Education Foundation hosts its annual Newcomers’ Pool Parties for new families to the Rancho Santa Fe School District to meet others and make new friends prior to the beginning of the school year. The kindergarten Welcome Pool Party will be held from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. Aug. 13. The first-grade through fourth-grade Welcome Pool Party is set from noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 20 and the fifth-grade through eighth-grade Welcome Pool Party will be held from noon to 3 p.m. Aug. 18.
For locations, contact Newcomers Co-Chairwoman Tiffany Catledge by e-mail at or by phone at (702) 408-8612.
Pool parties are hosted by parents of current students at private homes in Rancho Santa Fe, with refreshments and desserts donated by the Ranch Hands. Newcomers’ events are organized by parent volunteers and made possible by donations through the RSF Education Foundation.
Newcomers Co-Chairwomen for 2010-2011 are Tiffany Catledge, Alexandra Coe and Catherine Fox.
