OUTSTANDING EFFORT

Carlsbad High School Custodian Charles Daniel, left, nominated by CHS Assistant Principal Tom Bloomquist, was honored Feb. 24 by the Carlsbad Unified School District Board of Trustees as Classified Employee of the Month. “I would like to thank Charles for all his help during January,” Bloomquist said. “He took charge in the absence of our lead custodian and responded quickly and efficiently to all our emergency needs. Due to the inclement weather, this was an exceptionally hectic time with many roof leaks and drainage problems. His extra effort and professional manner are greatly appreciated. On behalf of the CHS administration and staff, thank you, Charles, for going the extra mile.” Classified employees of the month are nominated by district administrators for consistently performing above and beyond in the scope of their jobs.
