ODYSSEY

Odyssey, featuring singers and Carmel Valley residents Ann Larue, Debra Holmes, Jill Moore, Lois Harper, Patty Carlisle, Bill Isaacs, Brian Castle, Henrik Jonson, Paul Findley and RC Brooks, will be the featured artists at 7 p.m. March 24 in the Carmel Valley Library community room, 3919 Townsgate Drive. The group will offer a mix of Broadway, 50s doo-wop, contemporary pop, and patriotic songs. Instrumentalists with the group are pianist Tessa Heunis, violinist Linda Sax, bass guitarist Steve Schisler, and percussionist Tom Cornetto. Odyssey began four years ago in Carmel Valley when Castle and a few friends met in his living room to prepare a fall concert for their friends and families. Its members are accountants, administrators, attorneys, homemakers, engineers, teachers, and sales professionals, a mix as eclectic as their musical interests.
