OCEANSIDE — Oceanside Public Library offers free delivery of library materials to Oceanside residents of any age who are physically unable to visit the library. Materials available through the Homebound Services include books, large-print books, magazines, audio books, music CD, videos and DVDs. Homebound Delivery service is free and visits are made to a patron once a month.
The library will set up a schedule of deliveries, depending on the recipients needs. Library staff or volunteers will select materials according to recipients’ preferences and they will not be charged any fines, although they will be responsible for lost or damaged items.
To sign up for a delivery, call Homebound Services Coordinator at (760) 435-5657. For more information, visit Oceanside Public Library online at www.oceansidepubliclibrary.org.
