Oceanside art museum invites new members

OCEANSIDE — The Oceanside Museum of Art asks the community to consider the perks of being a member for the coming year.Some membership levels offer complimentary entry to more than 50 national and international art galleries exhibiting post-war and contemporary art. Become a member by choosing your level of membership and completing the online form at oma-online.org.

The Military/OMA Volunteers/Educator/Student membership is $30 and individual memberships are $45. Membership provides unlimited free admission for one person, invitation to exhibition openings, 10-percent discount in the OMA Museum Store, discounts on lectures, concerts, programs and trips, subscription to quarterly newsletter OMA Viewpoint and guest passes for two people. A dual/family membership is $60.

The $150 Patron membership offers all benefits of the dual/family membership plus invitation to the annual Patron/President’s Circle Party, guest passes for four people, recognition in the museum newsletter, membership in the North American Reciprocal Museum Program providing access to more than 500 museums.

In addition, this year marks the 10th anniversary of the Millennium Club, a membership level with special benefits like private receptions with tours of the major exhibitions led by the curator and/or artist. Members are also invited to private studio visits with local artists. The initial membership fee is $2,500 with a $1,000 renewal each year (Founder Level.)
