OCEANSIDE —Ivey Ranch Park Association, 110 Rancho Del Oro Drive, provides equestrian opportunities for disabled and able-bodied of all ages, through educational and recreational activities. The programs are run primarily by volunteers.
Ivey Ranch and its families offered up a big thanks to AnyTyme Plumbing, Ocean’s Eleven Casino, and San Onofre Fire Department for the holiday cheer they donated to the ranch this year. All three businesses contributed gifts to children’s holiday wish lists, including items that will stay at Ivey Ranch for all the children to use.
Ivey Ranch named its 2010 Top Volunteers, who have assisted with programs during the past year. Whether with horses/therapy, Horses for Heroes, the Child Development Center, or beautification projects, Ivey Ranch knows that its volunteers’ commitment is how it is able to provide the services it does.
The volunteers recognized for more than 100 hours of service in 2010 included Fred Nuthall; Samantha Hocking; Riley Insko; Ginger Nuthall; Matthew Jimenez; Erika Robarge; Lee Littlefield; Sara West; Victoria Ehlers; Debbie George; Rosella Childers; Anna Bechtold; Hunter Conroy; Tealar Henshilwood; Lena Ohlson; Rebecca Ortega; and Elise Titcomb.
The ranch also welcomed a new volunteer coordinator, Monique Bryant, who joined Ivey Ranch part-time in November. Bryant can be reached by e-mailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
