Mobile painting class comes with cocktails

OCEANSIDE — “Wine and Canvas” is going to paint Fratelli’s red, purple, blue, orange and more. The newest mobile lifestyle painting class will meet from 6 to 9 p.m. Aug. 19 at Fratelli’s, 3915 Mission Ave., Reservations are required.“Fratelli’s is a great setting for ‘Wine and Canvas’ to bring together groups of friends to share cocktails and laughs while painting the night away and no artistic experience or talent is required,” said Mary Zwerneman, owner of “Wine and Canvas.” “Our goal is to make painting easy and exciting and, at the end, have everyone take home a masterpiece that they created.”

Wine and Canvas provides brushes, canvas, paints, aprons and an artist to guide the fun, and all attendees take home a 16-inch-by20-inch masterpiece. Artists instruct participants, step-by-step, through recreating the featured painting of the day which will be “Love” on Aug. 19. Classes are priced at $35 which does not include the cost of food and beverages. Visit wineandcanvas.com/san-diego-ca.html or call (619) 207-9431 for more information and reservations.

“Life is too short for blank walls,” said Zwerneman. “Unleash your inner Picasso at a Wine and Canvas art class.”
