SOLANA BEACH — Dave Stubbs Real Estate, Inc., a 40-year-old staple in the Solana Beach real estate community, was purchased this month by Jeffrey Dunham, a local entrepreneur and successful businessman.
“As a long-time friend of Dave (Stubbs) and Judi (Stubbs) and as their financial advisor for 35 years,” said Jeffrey Dunham, “I have seen the company consistently serve the real estate and vacation rental needs of the Solana Beach market. I’m excited to expand the scope and reach of the company and I’m looking forward to injecting some fresh new ideas into the business to propel its growth.”
Dunham bought his first property at age 15 with money he’d saved from his newspaper route.
Thirty-nine years later, he’s been involved with more than $1 billion in real estate transactions ranging from shopping centers to office buildings, apartments, condos, vacation rentals, industrial spaces and single family homes.
He is also the Chairman and CEO of Dunham Funds and Dunham Trust Company, for 30 years in the trust and investment business.
