RANCHO SANTA FE — The board of directors of the Rancho Santa Fe Tennis Club is pleased to announce the hiring of Lynn Jennings as tennis club manager.
Jennings, a Carmel Valley resident, comes to Rancho Santa Fe with extensive experience in the tennis industry. She has previously held the manager position at both Bobby Riggs Tennis Club and Indian Ridge Country Club in Palm Desert. In addition, she has served as the after school tennis and event coordinator at the Barnes Tennis Center.
Jennings also has experience in teaching and coaching. She has been a tennis instructor at San Dieguito Tennis Club and at The Four Seasons Resort, Aviara. She has also coached the Girls’ Junior Varsity tennis team at Torrey Pines High School, leading them to an undefeated season.
In addition, Jennings is an accomplished competitive player. She was a member of an area USTA team which placed fifth in Nationals; she also held a No. 4 ranking in singles in the Southern California Women’s 45 Division.
Jennings’s duties at the club will include making court assignments, scheduling lessons with tennis professionals, coordinating league play, and managing the pro shop. She will also be responsible for planning social events, hiring staff, overseeing the after school program, and supervising the maintenance of the facility.
“I am very excited for the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the Rancho Santa Fe Tennis Club,” Jennings said. “I look forward to meeting all the club members and assisting them with any of their tennis needs.”
