ENCINITAS — Spread the word: Lux Art Institute is looking for 12- to 14-year-old art enthusiasts to participate in its Junior Art Board during the 2013/2014 school year.Selected students will meet weekly after school to get to know Lux resident artists, create a portfolio of artwork and plan art programming for their peers. Applications for this program are now available, and are due on Oct. 7. This program is free of charge, and is sponsored by a grant from The Thomas C. Ackerman Foundation.
