LIBRARY QUILT

Tickets are now on sale to win a memorial quilt that will benefit Carlsbad City Library. The spring-themed, queen-size quilt is now on display in the entryway of the Dove branch of the Carlsbad City Library, 1775 Dove Lane. It was sewn by Caroline Barnes in memory of Connie E. Constantino, a children’s librarian in the 1990s. Tickets for a chance to win the quilt are available through April 15 at the Friends of the Library bookstore. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20. The winning ticket will be drawn during the Friends’ Better Books Sale, April 16 and April 17. Proceeds from both the quilt drawing and the book sale will benefit Carlsbad City Library.
