Last chance to help local foundation win national grant

COAST CITIES — Cure JM just fell to third place in the Pepsi Refresh Contest, which mean they would not get any of the $250,000 for research. Take two minutes of your time to vote and you could make a big difference and save lives of children with JM.
Today is the last day to vote. Now, more than ever, Cure JM needs your support. After you vote, the organization urges you to share with your friends on Facebook and with anyone you can.
Each person can vote three times per day and there are three ways to vote:

Cure JM is an all-volunteer organization searching for a cure for a rare, life-threatening childhood disease called juvenile myositis. Local boy Parker Hume has spent more than 500 days in the hospital battling this disease. Some children suffer even more, and some don’t survive.

Thanks to all who provided support to get out the vote to work to win the $250,000 Pepsi Refresh grant. Voting just closed tonight and while results are not official until tomorrow morning it looked at last count Cure JM was in 1st place to win the much needed grant funds! Thank you to THE COAST NEWS and all of its readers who took the time to vote!
