COAST CITIES — Cure JM just fell to third place in the Pepsi Refresh Contest, which mean they would not get any of the $250,000 for research. Take two minutes of your time to vote and you could make a big difference and save lives of children with JM.
Today is the last day to vote. Now, more than ever, Cure JM needs your support. After you vote, the organization urges you to share with your friends on Facebook and with anyone you can.
Each person can vote three times per day and there are three ways to vote:
1) Text 100850 to 73774 (Pepsi)
2) Vote on Facebook: http://bit.ly/CureJMonFB
3) Vote on Pepsi site: http://www.refresheverything.com/makejmamemory
Cure JM is an all-volunteer organization searching for a cure for a rare, life-threatening childhood disease called juvenile myositis. Local boy Parker Hume has spent more than 500 days in the hospital battling this disease. Some children suffer even more, and some don’t survive.
The Coast News has been delivering high-quality news, community voice and storytelling since its inception in 1987. Since then, the news organization has grown into a successful newsgroup covering a majority of San Diego’s populous North County region.
