SAN DIEGO — SeaWorld San Diego’s website reports that 12-year-old killer whale Sumar died at approximately 1:45 on Sept. 7.
The exact cause of death is unknown and will be determined by a necropsy.
“The entire SeaWorld team is mourning the loss,” the website said.
Sumar is reported to have been acting lethargic on Sept. 6, and he was given antibiotics to try to stabilize him.
The Shamu Show was cancelled as all trainers and veterinarians focused their full attention on the sick whale. Sumar eventually succumbed later the following afternoon.
The Shamu Show is scheduled to resume today, Sept. 8.

You two that made jokes about this are sick minded individuals. I was at the park the day the whale died and it was very sad. You really need some help.
What do you mean "HAHAHA…" Too bad it wasn’t you instead of this beautiful animal. Then I would say "HAHAHAHAHA" No wonder I like animals a lot better than people.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAA
