Human remains found at Lake Hodges ID’d

ESCONDIDO — The San Diego County Sheriff’s Department released information on Friday involving a case of unidentified human remains found at Lake Hodges in mid-October.

The remains found on Oct. 17 near Lake Hodges have been positively identified as belonging to San Diego resident Marisol Lopez, 29. The Medical Examiner’s Office has not yet ruled on the cause or manner of death.
