Hot to Trot

REGION — Turkey Trots are quickly taking over as the new Thanksgiving tradition and it’s no different in Oceanside and Encinitas.

Runners turn out for the second annual Encinitas Turkey Trot on Thursday, while Oceanside plays host to the 10th annual Oceanside Turkey Trot. As of last year, it’s become the 8th largest Thanksgiving Day race in the country.
