Home repair funds available for veteran homeowners

COAST CITIES — The Local Interagency Network of the Veterans Services Division for the California Department of Veterans Affairs is looking to lend a hand to veteran homeowners.Veterans 360, Habitat for Humanity and The Home Depot Foundation wants to support local veteran homeowners in need of critical house repair. The agency is especially interested in offering up to $15,000 in materials refurbishment or repair services to veterans who need enhancements to their homes due to warrior disability or increased family size.

Anyone who might know a veteran who has been honorably discharged, with a single-income below $45,000 or a family income between $51,000 and $69,000 should contact the California Department of Veterans Affairs at (213) 744-4847 or visit calvet.ca.gov or email to [email protected].
