COAST CITIES — The Coastal Communities Concert Band, an 85-piece symphonic band, will present its 14th annual Holiday Concert at 2 p.m. Dec. 7 at the California Center for the Arts in Escondido,
340 N. Escondido Blvd.
General admission is $15. Seniors 60 and up and children 12 and under are $12.50. The holiday concert benefits Meals-on-Wheels Greater San Diego.
The band donates the concert’s proceeds annually to the nonprofit organization. This event has produced more than $80,000 for over the past several years, with special songs of the season from vocalist Michael Ruhl. There will also be a special tribute to Donald Caneva, the group’s past director, who died this year.
