Holiday comedy goes extemporaneous

SOLANA BEACH — “An UnScripted Carol” brings actors’ imaginations steeped in Dickens and Christmas tradition to the stage where they work feverishly to create a feast of improvisational theater. The show runs at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 17 through Dec. 20 at the North Coast Repertory Theatre, 987 Lomas Santa Fe Drive.Tickets are $20 and $25. The pace is swift, and the performers are pushed to the peak of their abilities as they attempt to juggle character, plot and staging all at once. “An UnScripted Carol” is a holiday treat that never tells the same story twice.
