Members of the Santa Margarita Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution met recently for a “packing party” for Landstuhl Regional Medical Center at the home of chapter secretary Wanda Prosser. Pictured from left are Rae Castro, Pat Peterson, Evelyn Cahill, Adele Lancaster, Diana Cook, Nancy Anson, Donna Pinckney, Ruth Moore and Wanda Prosser. Located in southeastern Germany, Landstuhl is the largest military medical hospital outside the United States. Wounded military personnel arrive at Landstuhl with only what is on their backs. Members of the DAR chapter donated clothing such as T-shirts, sweat shirts, socks, pajamas, slippers, toiletries, snacks, magazines, towels and blankets to help them until they arrive at a facility stateside.
