Help replant the lagoon

ENCINITAS — The San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy is organizing a Lagoon Platoon to work at supporting and sustaining this natural habitat.Join the San Elijo Lagoon Conservancy biologists and help plant coastal sage scrub habitat in San Elijo Lagoon from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 19 at the San Elijo Lagoon Ecological Reserve, 2049 San Elijo Ave.

This event will organize volunteers, ages 13 and older, to help remove invasive plants, plant and water native plants and remove trail debris or assist in trail maintenance. At each restoration site, a mini tour of the habitat area is provided to participants.
