Home Care Assistance of San Diego, or HCA-SD, celebrated Health Literacy Month on Oct. 24 and Oct. 26 in San Marcos with culinary classes for its caregivers, taught by Chef Dorothy DiTomaso of Sur la Table. The Culinary School for Caregivers is an original program created by HCA-SD President Ron Kinder, and cultivated from the belief that good food is one of life’s greatest enjoyments.
