Harvest fest offers seasonal treats

CARLSBAD—The first annual Harvest Fest was held at the farmer’s market Wednesday with activities for children and seasonal treats not normally offered.

Porcelain Doll Pink Pumpkins were available to purchase from Suzie’s Farm and a portion of the proceeds went to breast cancer awareness.

Seasonal goods like jams and pies were also among the treats shoppers could purchase.

Kids could bob for apples, take part in arts and crafts or get a photo taken sitting on a hay bale among pumpkins.

The harvest fest took place at the parking lot on State Street which was painted for the pop-up plaza event that took place in September.

Games and arts and crafts were offered at the Harvest Festival.
