Gem show to be held

ESCONDIDO — The Palomar Gem & Mineral Club will hold its 2009 annual show from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 21 and from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 22. The show will be held at the Army National Guard Armory at 304 Park Avenue in Escondido.
Dealers will be selling rock rough, finished stones, jewelry, tools and other rock-related products. Gem identification will also be available. Admission is $2 for adults, and $1 for seniors 65 and older. Children under 12 are free when accompanied by an adult. The proceeds from this show support club activities and enable the club to maintain a lapidary shop for member use. Membership is open to the public.
