‘Fun Raisers’ to collect formal wear for teens

VISTA — The Fun Raisers is a group whose goal is to raise funds while having fun and encouraging the kids of Vista at the Boys & Girls Club to have fun as well.
To raise money, the Fun Raisers will attempt to host luncheons, home tours, fashion shows, rummage sales, parties for the children, Christmas tree raffles and much more. Right now, gently worn prom dresses, tuxedos and other formal wear are being collected to donate to high school kids that could normally not afford the evening wear for events such as prom.
The Fun Raiser’s next meeting is at 10 a.m. March 13 at the Boys & Girls Club of Vista at 410 W. California Avenue.
If you would like to become involved or donate prom or evening wear, åcontact Cindy Hudson at the Club at (760) 724- 6606, ext. 12.
