ENCINITAS — It is time again for the classic Full Moon Poets 2012 Summer Slam on Blue Moon Friday, 7 p.m. Aug. 31 at the La Paloma Theater, 471 S. Coast Highway. The Master of Ceremonies will be Swami Bruce.Admission is free and the Poets’ Call is 6 p.m. for those wishing to enter. All entries will put their name into the popcorn bucket and the first 17 names pulled will be the line up for the night.
Any poet’s under the age of 18 need a parent’s signature on the release. Visit fullmoonpoets.org for more information and rules. The two major sponsors this year are the election committees for Tony Kranz and Lisa Shaffer, candidates for Encinitas City Counci.
