VISTA — The Shadowridge Owners’ Association named Shadowridge resident and SVC Treasurer Gene Ford its Citizen of the Year for 2008.
Vista Mayor Morris Vance also presented Ford with a proclamation designating Oct. 30 as “Gene Ford Day” in recognition of Ford’s contributions and accomplishments for the Shadowridge area as well as the broader community of Vista.
A resident of Shadowridge since 1989, Ford has served as a member of the Association’s Master Board, where he currently serves as treasurer. Ford also serves his community as president of the board of trustees of Solutions for Change.
