ENCINITAS — A line-up of free recycle opportunities are being co-sponsored by the Solana Center for Environmental Innovation and the city of Encinitas.
A chance to properly dispose of your electronic waste will be held from 9 a.m. to noon Sept. 26 and again Nov. 15 at Solana Center, 137 N. El Camino Real, just past the San Diego County Sheriff’s station at the top of Via Molena.

In addition, mark your calendars for a free Compost Workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 24 at Quail Botanical Gardens, 230 Quail Gardens Drive. The center also has compost bins for sale Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. at Solana Center. Several cities subsidize the cost of the bins for the residents. For details, visit www.solanacenter.org.
