COAST CITIES — The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude 5.8 earthquake at 10:48 a.m. Dec. 30. The earthquake struck 23 miles southeast of Calexico, Calif. Significant rolling has been reported throughout San Diego County, including North County.
No structural damage has been reported in North County.
