Dinner, dancing and ‘murder’ offered on cruise

COAST CITIES — A Long Beach harbor cruise, a four-course sit-down dinner, prizes, music, dancing and … murder are being offered by MiraCosta College on April 25
for an evening on the Grand Romance, an authentic paddle-wheel boat, where you’ll become part of a four-act murder mystery. Cruisers will mingle with an experienced group of actors secretly placed among you, leaving everyone to wonder who is part of the show and who is not, truly making this a “night to remember.”
Cost of the trip is $140 per person, which includes a luxury coach ride to Long Beach, a harbor cruise, an interrogation reception, hors d’oeuvres, dinner, gratuity for food service, prizes for the “sleuth” who solves the crime, an original murder mystery performance and music and dancing after the show.
The bus will depart April 25 from MiraCosta College San Elijo Campus, 3333 Manchester Ave., in Cardiff at 3:40 p.m. and MiraCosta College Oceanside Campus (parking lot 1A), 1 Barnard Drive at 4:20 p.m. Return times will be about 11:30 p.m. to the Oceanside Campus and midnight to the San Elijo Campus.
Participants are not required to perform in any way. The minimum age is 15 and adult supervision is required. Business or dressy casual attire is required. When you register, indicate your choice of entrée and dessert.
