Rancho Santa Fe residents Stuart and Lisa Lipton celebrated the Bon Appetit Fast Easy Fresh Cookbook with author and Bon Appétit Editor-in-Chief Barbara Fairchild, center, Feb. 8 at Addison at The Grand Del Mar. Lipton is the president of the national and San Diego chapter of The American Institute of Wine & Food. More than 70 area foodies celebrated the publication of the new cookbook with Fairchild, where Addison’s Executive Chef William Bradley offered his interpretation of recipes from the new cookbook, including pan-seared sea scallops with red onion marmalade; seared Ahi tuna with avocado tartar; chestnut pancakes with bacon and crème fraîche; and chocolate-orange ice cream sundae.
