OCEANSIDE — Final plans for the Oceanside Days of Art are under way and artists from all over San Diego County will gather from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. April 16 and April 17.
The Oceanside Days of Art is also home to a large high-school art show, sponsored by the Carlsbad-Oceanside Art League. Also, posters from an annual kindergarten through 12th-grade poster contest will be on display along with artwork created by local military artists.
The 19th annual event will include more than 120 artists displaying a variety of artwork, including painting, ceramics, fine jewelry, stained glass, metalworks and more. Future or armchair artists will have opportunities to take part in free hands-on art activities. Live entertainment will be available on two stages both days, showcasing music from The Warned, Xperience, Exo Tiki, The San Diego Gay Men’s Choir and more.
All your favorite fair food will be on hand, from kettle corn to tri-tip beef. For more information visit oceanside-days-of-art.org. Admission is free.
