CARMEL VALLEY — Congregation Beth Am will hold a mah jongg tournament Nov. 9 at 5050 Del Mar Heights Road.
The community is invited to join in for five rounds of games, a light breakfast, catered lunch and prizes. The cost of the tournament is $40 per player. Check-in begins at 8:45 a.m. and the daylong tournament ends at 4 p.m. Reservations are mandatory by Nov. 3. The tournament will be a fun atmosphere, not an intensely competitive one. It’s a day to enjoy maj with lots of different players of all levels.
