Carlsbad will have five guests arriving from Futtsu, Japan, a city across the bay from Tokyo. Futtsu has been Carlsbad’s Sister City for 22 years and sends a group of students here every other year. This year there will be a high school student, two junior college students, a public service employee and a chaperone. All of them speak English and need local hosts from the morning of March 25 to their departure the morning of March 29 at Palomar Airport. Carlsbad Sister City Ambassadors has many events planned and the host families are also invited.
