City asks residents to get involved

DEL MAR — Would you like to be a mover and shaker? Want to have a hand in Del Mar’s future? Consider the volunteer vacancies being advertised on the city’s Web site, residents should obtain the City Council resolutions describing the committees they are interested in, fill out a Citizen Interest Form and file it with the City Clerk. — Friends of the Powerhouse

Additional opportunities to volunteer are available on Council Advisory Committees. Through the selection and appointment of numerous volunteers to advisory committees, the Council fosters and promotes the active involvement of Del Mar residents in city programs and activities.
