VISTA — The County of San Diego Department of Child Support Services is now open Monday through Friday at the Vista Courthouse Complex.
“The expansion of our office hours in Vista, along with the establishment of a Kearny Mesa branch last month, is part of our ongoing efforts to make our services more accessible to county residents,” said Department of Child Support Services Director Jeff Grissom.
The Vista office was previously open primarily in conjunction with court cases scheduled on Wednesdays and Thursdays. Now, a full range of services are offered to the public for appointments and walk-ins every weekday from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Customers must enter through the Traffic Court Annex and pass security screening by 3:30 p.m.
Payments will be accepted at the Vista location, and there is a self-service kiosk available for customer convenience. Parking is free, and the facility is also accessible via the Breeze bus system. The Family Law Facilitator and the Superior Court Businesses Office are available at the same location as well. The Vista Courthouse Complex is located at 325 South Melrose Drive.
The Department of Child Support Services establishes and enforces child and medical support orders; assists in paternity establishment; and collects and distributes child and spousal support payments. For more information, visit www.sandiegochildsupport.org or call (866) 901-3212.
