VISTA —North County Trade Tech High School won the “Excellence in Business” award at the annual San Diego North Economic Development Council awards luncheon. Trade Tech, a Vista Chamber of Commerce member, is a charter school that graduates students with a blend of strong academic and workforce competencies necessary for future success in the construction industry and in secondary education. Doreen Quinn accepted the award for Trade Tech.
Also honored by the Economic Development Council with nominations for “Excellence in Business” award were EDCO, Orange Couch Design Group and Poseidon Resources, Inc.
Solatube Global Marketing, Inc. and DJO, Inc, were nominees for the “North County International Trade Excellence Award.”
